What these terms cover
These terms apply to the OTR Groups blog and every guide, parts list, stitch diagram and note published on it. By reading the site or following a guide, you accept them. If you disagree with any part, the guides are still here to read, but you should not rely on them for your own repairs.
How you may use the guides
You can follow any guide to repair your own gear, print a page for personal use, and share a link with someone who needs it. You may not republish the guides as your own, sell them, or run them as course material. Quoting a short passage with a link back is fine.
Editorial notes, not a service
Every post is a field note from our own repairs. It is not a warranty, a service offer or professional advice, and it is not reviewed or certified by any outside body. Whether a fix holds depends on your tools, your materials and your hands. A repair that worked on our bench may behave differently on your gear.
What we do not do
We do not sell parts, we do not repair gear for readers, and we do not accept liability for damage, injury or loss that follows from a repair you carry out yourself. If a strap, shell, boot or stove fails after you have worked on it, that outcome sits with you and your own judgement about the job.
The contact form
The only interactive feature on this site is the plain form on the contact page, which leads to a technical confirmation page. There are no accounts, bookings, payments or live replies anywhere on the site. Sending a repair job through the form does not create a service agreement or a promise that we will feature it.
Changes and legal contact
These terms may be updated as the blog grows, and the current version always applies from the moment it is published. For any legal question about the guides or these terms, write to hello@otrgroups.com or use the postal address: The Firs, 32 Baker Street, Rosebank, Johannesburg, 2196, South Africa.
